i’m currently enjoying my RM role at an agency, however i’m not learning or growing in the RM space and am not feeling fulfilled in my day to day. the good news is that i am learning about how large companies operate (the good & the bad), and that’s something i can always take with me.

any insights for a career path for someone who is a decade into their career? HR seems like a reasonable stepping stone, and a friend has suggested consultant role, however i don’t feel qualified for either.

Any book recommendations for someone looking to get into a Product Owner / Manager role?

I know that people say it’s all about story, but with a certain gpa/gmat score is there a “floor” that you’re safe on? Experienced hires can sometimes be like the salt water taffy of resources. They’re there, but no one wants them 🤦‍♀️

In an environment where we’re barely surviving, fielding resignations left and right, I thought this might be a good place to vent, source ideas, discuss common trends etc. Our field is very unique and hard to find comps in terms of salary, daily duties, expectations so I’m hoping we can have an open dialogue on this!
