What is the advice on what feedback to leave for a peer who really sucks at everything y'all have worked together on? Weekly Hot take. Accessibility=/= easy mode. I know it would take alot more time and resources to develop but more games sould come with accessibility features like color blind mode and maybe a bullet time for jumps. I am not a person with disabilities but i believe Celeste did a pretty good job at adding some of these features. Currently creating spend analysis and doing vendor onboarding work for my company. It’s becoming a little mundane after 3-4 years. Senior leadership is so unforgiving that I fear by giving notice, I’ll be asked to leave and lose out on two weeks pay.

Do companies sometimes offer "gifts of appreciation" if you're not selected for a merit increase? My manager randomly called me to let me know I was chosen for the "gift" this year bc of my "hard work & dedication", except now I'm learning other colleagues are receiving actual merits.

Does anyone have any tips on virtual interviews and how to gauge the culture of the firm and if it really will be a good fit for you? I have been looking for a job in mining or civil engineering from past 2-3 months, havent even got a reply yet, reason being i dont have canadian experience. Even though i do have 3.5 years experience from my home country, without canadian experience i get rejected at even entry level jobs. Does anyone know what to do ? please help me
