Lets grab a beer at ladybird and cry over this?
I’ll see you on friday.. spot me.. I’m M and I usually wear a white cap 😄
where did you work before and what was the take home package?
A1 Acn pays their sales division well and I wouldn’t be looking if I was apart of it 😭 i’m in a acquisition division that does inside sales and boy it stinks
I did a similar move early in my career and for less than half of that. It did pay off but ultimately had to jump to cash out my experience. You have to be able to time it. I think you’re fine, it’s a great brand for your resume as well.
IBM1 Thank you for the advice! It’s honestly not even the money but more so the work. I was told I would be an Account Manager and have yet to manage an account. I’m currently a glorified SDR…haha so I do want to get back to making money but more than anything I want to use the skills I know I have!
I am 1000% done with ACN I was just in a crappy division so I am exploring my options!
This is just my 2 cents but - I think you could come at the problem 2 ways:
1.Focus on getting ANY field sales rep job to push your career in that sales rep/account manager direction - which may mean going to a startup because they’re always hiring but their commission structure will probably be 80% variable with 20% base.
2.Focus on a specific industry - selling stuff in a particular industry that has $$$ pay outs - so choose your poison - pharmaceuticals, tech, etc. these would probably be harder to pivot from, coming from Accenture. But if you do choice 1 above - you could eventually focus on choice 2
