I’m having a bit of a career crisis at the moment! I’m not sure what department I want to end up in, I don’t think I’d want to end up as a prop master but I also enjoy working in props? I would like to try set decoration but it seems hard to switch?

I think it's not as hard to switch as you think, you'd have a lot of transferrable skills I imagine! If you shadow a person for a few hours in the department you want to join, that can lead to lots of opportunities too. You would have to think you'll be usually starting from step 1 though compared to whatever step of your career you'll currently on - but it's doable!

Yeah that’s true! Just need to do it and see what happens, I’ll started networking with the other departments!

Anyone feel like your job sees you as "one of the good ones?" It hasn't explicitly been said, but I'm one of the only Black attorneys at the firm and I think my white colleagues and partners see me as an example of how Black folks "should be" cause I mind my business. Basically I feel like a token, and I don't know how to shift that idea while staying professional.

Hey fishes, can someone tell me how the 80c bracket works, i know i can get exempt upto 1.5lakh under it, what i wanna know is does PF comes under it or not? For example if my yearly pf deduction is 20k and VPF is 10k so now will i still be able to show investment of 1.5lakh under 80c apart from PF and VPF or i'll be able to get exemption on only 1.2 lakh( 1.5lakh-30k= 1.2lakh)?

Thank you in advance!!
