I’m headed to Italy in July. We start in Milan and end in Rome. We plan to spend some time in Tuscany. Anyone have any recommendations on wine tours or vineyards to visit?

Fattoria Poggerino in Radda in Chianti for a great experience and great wine from a smaller and biodynamic producer. The Antinori property in Chianti is impressive. Ettore Germano in the Piedmont for some great Barolo. Cantine Povero also in the Piedmont for larger operation but still family run. Scacciadiavoli in Montefalco. Tenuta Argentiera in Bolgheri if you are going to the Tuscan coast. Val delle Rose if you go to Grosseto.

I don’t know Tuscany or the producers that well and admit I’ve never been but suggest maybe the Brunello di Montalcino or Chianti Classico area if you’re looking for solid producers. Not sure how you plan on getting around but what I’ve done is plan around producers clustered in a certain area and hitting one place and having cabs take you between wineries, assuming you can find cabs there and you may not. It’s cheaper than a wine tour and you can go at your own pace and attention span

Thanks! We are staying near Florence after Cinque Terre and have plans to go to Sienna and Cortona. We might end up renting a car.

Where in Tuscany. It’s quite large.

Lol I’m doing the opposite. Starting in Roma. Following.

Really kind of shocking that management would bring in three pretty conservative speakers. I mean, we know where Rob and they stand, but I thought MYJourney was about building us up as leaders and finding what makes us happy and succeed, not just throwing politics right in our face. Just kind of makes me think the whole MYJourney program is a joke now.
