Hi everyone, any reviews on the TheraFace PRO?
My probation was supposed to be of 6 months (i.e until June 2022), but today I received a notification in Workday that I have passed my probation.
How is this possible?
I was planning to resign within probation for 30days notice period. But now this happened. Will this change my notice period to 90days??

I'm curious what the average salary is for an Associate Agent. I'm licensed & do everything after the sale is made as well as refer new business. I have 14 years in the industry but have been at the current company less than a year, so I know that plays a part as well. Anyone in a like-position by chance?State Farm Allstate Travelers

Not familiar with the term 'LT out of work'. Although before I came to my current job, I was unemployed for almost a year, and that was no fun at all.
Indeed.com is a website where I ended up finding my current job. I work remotely and been with the company for over a year now. It's not in a call center setting, so it's a close knit group...
A different something to consider.
Another out-of-the-box thought for you. Not sure if you're in touch with anyone in the recent Chicago job, or in the job before that, you might ask if they had any suggestions where you might be a better fit for your skillset.
I work through a call center and wish I could find something not so stressful. I have worked in the past with different agencies. It is hard to find Insurance Agent in P&C that isn't call center when working from home.
You have 2 choices:
1. If you’re focused on your existing network, move back to where you used to live.
2. Reach out to your current network to ask for introductions to their contacts in Chicago.
I have a suggestion. This is not for the faint of heart. I'm now exiting the Medicare Advantage arm of my health insurance independent company. I have started energy-efficient window sales. If you have a strong work ethic and the motivation to get out of debt & sustain yourself, contact me, here. we're hiring 100% commission. You need a reliable car and a smartphone with WiFi. Stop applying when you could be WORKING now!
This sucks and I hope you find something soon! Try Gallagher Bassett and Allstate. They both have headquarters in Chicagoland area and might fit with hybrid in office schedules since your in the city already. 🤞🏽🙏🏽
Man, that’s rough—moving to Chicago for a new opportunity just to be let go after 3 months is a lot, especially when your background is in insurance and risk management. That field should offer more stability, but unfortunately, that’s not always the case.
That’s actually what led me to AO Globe Life. It’s still in the insurance space, but with a completely different structure and mission—we help protect working families with union-backed life insurance benefits. It’s fully remote, no cold calling, no door-to-door, and no buying leads. They provide all the training you need, and your growth is based on performance, not your past.
There’s uncapped income potential, residual income, and you’re making a real impact while building something solid. If you’re open to exploring a fresh angle within the industry, I’d be happy to share more.
Sorry this is happening to you. Try AAA insurance in Chicago area
Wow! I’m so sorry. Sending prayers your way.
Sorry to hear of your situation. That’s rough. Don’t know if you’ll find this helpful, but my company is growing nationwide & has remote opportunities as well: https://app.goboon.co/Trucordia/browse?rp=3S5uAdr
Whether here or somewhere else, I hope you find a job you enjoy & I wish you all the best!!
Have you approached any local agencies in the area? Apply directly on their websites. I think you might have more luck with a local based brick and mortar building. Doesn't have to be permanent but could be a place to land until you are on your feet.
To get you out of your rut.... I did the same thing, by moving from California to Utah, without knowing anyone. I found it difficult to maintain freindships, much less job network. I substitute taught at the public schools while I onboarded & TRAINED and tested for every insurance carrier I appointed with, which then eventually STOPPED commissioning us, if mnot CMS changing the rules on HOW we can market. When I arrived in Utah, I found out that independent agents were barred from doing educationals OR marketing at senior centers ACROSS THE STATE.
SO, I kept my substituting job, gave up on mputtin my effort in to find friends that ended up being LOUSY, spent 1.5 hours on ONE job application before I:
STOPPED Complaning and feeling sorry for myself. And entered door-to-door energy-efficient windows sales at 100% commission.
I LOVE it!
I set my own hours, I'm not held to sales quotas, adn I walk 2-4 hours after teaching each day to set appts. I let my closers do their job. They are highly-trained and have my back.
If you are interested in changing your life. And possibly relocating, we are located out west and are presently recruiting.
What jobs are you applying for in Chicago? Any carriers? I can see if my company is hiring and maybe offer a referral if there’s any roles that interest you! I would strongly encourage LinkedIn and indeed which I am sure you are already on. I thought Chicago had a decent insurance hub, but I guess I was mistaken. I’m so sorry that this happened to you.
I work with a brokerage that gives me access to most products from all the top carriers. I am also looking for supplemental work to help me afford leads as I get back on my feet. It's your own business rather than a job.. I'd advise that if I may.
First Chicago Insurance Company (FCIC) is also offering hybrid!
That is horrible. I am so sorry. My company is hiring. It may not be as much in pay but it is work from and they send you all the equipment you need. If you need ir want a referral let me know.
