I'm in PDM and am working with a client where they only extend SOW for 8-12 weeks and they don't make a decision till the last 2 weeks. The client is sort of unorganized and keeps moving me to different projects . As of now , I'm the only resource working at the client . I've had a few Deloitte managers message me since my staff shows me as available within 8 weeks. Can I just accept a role at a new client and say no to my current project saying I don't want to work at this client

Well, I was on an onboarding call and they were talking about staffing and projects. The presenter said to reach out to them if you don’t think your project is a good fit. In his words “you were hired into the firm, not a specific project. We see you here long term... With the exception of PDM model” 😅

My project client location in Denver started in person mandatory days. Few of colleagues started to go there. I’m confused as I was hired as PDM and I live in east coast and project is in west coast. It's day 2 for me at Deloitte (PDM) , just received my laptop yesterday , completed a few of the trainings and created/uploaded my resume. Coach and onboarding advisor have not been assigned yet. When do I get assigned to a project? What does that process look like ? How long does this orientation go on for ? And do I have to transfer all my stocks from robinhood to one of their approved brokerages?

Switching from PDM 2 to SpM, should I expect a pay adjustment?

Can you help explain why a team would be able to afford hiring an individual under PDM at a higher salary but unable to offer the same package under the Traditional route?

For context, I’m currently negotiating for a role and have expressed some of my concerns. My recruiter has been very helpful, but I’d like to better understand the reasoning before making my decision. The offer is $100k for PDM, but $85k max if brought on as Traditional.

What are the requirements to promote from analyst to senior analyst? I’ve been with Deloitte for two years now and am wondering how I go about making myself promotable. I don’t have a CPA, CFE, etc. Is one of those required?

PDM specialist at 96k. I have an option to select PDM Specialist 2 or PDM Manager for my promotion with the PPMD. Which one is advisable to prefer Pay wise? I am thinking to take PDM 2 to increase my base pay for the manager.

Did anyone else need to get PPMD Approval to participate in Firm Initiatives/Contribution activities? Just emailed my resource manager to get involved and she said I had to get approval first.

In the last PDM town hall, they said they were going to lower utilization targets for those that work on projects with capped hours. For those people, have you seen your utilization target lowered? I haven’t seen shit change for me.

What other performance factors are considered for PDM besides utilization?
