My opinion - MBA is for a career pivot
If you are going to stay in the same general industry/career path, I don't think it's worth it unless you come out of a top program (and even those graduates are struggling to land jobs)

Secondary reason is if it’s a school that will help with networking and build connections. Is with everything else though - it is what you make of it. The education itself won’t be enough. You’ll still need to figure out how to give yourself more opportunities.
Here is a big thing to consider, depending on the school find out how their programs are accredited. You can then find schools that have the same accreditation but also cost substantially less. The question, do you want the degree or do you want the school name. Also depending on what stage your career is in should also be a determining factor. I got an MBA, and a MPA. I earned both of these degrees in the later stages of the 2nd 3rd of my career. I would say for me, yes they have paid off but I also rarely share that I have two Masters.
