I’m noticing that the roles I’m most excited about are the ones where I feel the least confident after the interview, and it’s messing with my ability to read situations. I keep replaying my answers until I’ve convinced myself I blew it. How do I stop over analyzing everything?

Hello friends, looking at a JP opportunity and hopefully going into the offer process after today’s interview. What I need help is understanding the comp structure in non front office roles ? In Goldman we have PATC ( per annum total comp ) which is nothing but base + “promised” bonus % + RSU.. how do you have total comp defined in JP ? the bonus also a % of base and almost agreed upon ? Example my bases is 200k and bonus is 25 % etc ?

I think I did a mistake , I tried applying for companies and dont get any calls, got two calls but both of them rejected even before taking an interview that they want immediate joiners , market was ok so I resigned and the hiring got freezed its been 45 days since , but I still dont have an offer dint just got two interviews till now I am trying to get referals , applying in naukri, LinkedIn getting referrals from fish bowl everyday and I am scared now hope I get atleast one offer😔😔

Been interviewing for two months for an in-house position. Is this standard?

Had two rounds of interviews for an in house role and really like the company/job. I followed up Friday regarding next steps and was told they are still interviewing and should be wrapping up soon. Advice on how to stay calm? I want the position and need to know if there’s a way to speed up the process.

I wish firms had special HR teams to work with prospective candidates outside of typical work hours. Have had a couple interviews (technically) that I’ve botched from just general fatigue or fire drills at work

Three days later recruiter wants to give me a call and “give an update”. Schedules it after 2 days. This morning cancels last minute as they are having “internal discussions”. Went for a pre-employment drug test yesterday. They never asked me if I was on any medications. I had to ask them and was told "oh yeah, just put any you may think make a difference in this text box." I put Xanax, Flexeril, and gabapentin. All of which are prescribed and used as directed. Now I'm terrified that I should have put ALL my meds, to including my psych meds. I've been sober over 12 years and never touched drugs (just booze) but I'm having a full blown panic attack.

I'm SVP/strategy for a PR agency. I moved into PR, Healthcare, and Strategic Planning only 3 years ago. An agency recruiter is trying to convince me to move into a GSVP account role, assuring me "at that level it's all strategy." (I dont think she understands the words she's using.
