I love Andy! But I thought he was Dartmouth for some reason
I think it's a good school, but it's not prestigious. You should think of the criteria you care about, not what others care about
I like Cornell because it’s more focused on engineering and tech which is my background. Prestige is nice too though. I care about what others think and feel about me sometimes
I think it was ranked between 11-15 amongst the decently reputable sites. Good school, hold’s brand equity in the long run, but I’d aim for an M7 school and keep Johnson as a back up. The cohort is going to be fun at all the top schools. It’s a recruiting opportunities that you really need to keep in mind.
Thanks! I don’t know if I can get in the M7 but sounds like it’s worth the effort
P1 is right. Alum of Johnson - love the program and vibe (outdoorsy, hard working, self-reflective, with a tad bit of codependency), but apply everywhere. If you love Cornell in the end, aim for $$$ and go (and potentially welcome to the family!).
Thanks. How is the network in your opinion?
What do you want to recruit for? Cornell’s mba program isn’t that well known.
I’ve hired folks from there so not exactly true. That being said, it’s no Wharton.
