I’ve applied to multiple.NET Full Stack Developer positions and am open to entry-level roles as well. Despite my efforts—networking at events, sending out cold emails, and going through numerous interviews—I still haven’t received an offer.

Pre-MBA at MBB — Have worked on a few DDs but have not touched the model workstream yet. Any advice on how I can best discuss my “deal” experience in PE interviews despite that? Thanks in advance!

Final round! Panel interview w an assignment to present some ideas on how to increase customers for 1 of 5 key audience segments.
I’m most familiar with 1 as it’s the audience I work with at current job. Not enough info/experience with other 2 segments. Remaining segments I know enough but not as confidently.

Will it look like I took the easy way out if I chose my segment? They know it’s my current audience and has been for 8 yrs. Would love to hear your thoughts!

I’m graduating in December, with a background in environmental economics and policy. Consulting didn’t work out this cycle. Made it to final rounds for Bain and Kearney but in the end didn’t get an offer. I want to recoup and try again, but I’m worried that once I’m out of undergrad the door will be closed to starting in consulting.

What can I do to make this happen? I have friends and connections at Bain and Kearney and the other firms as well, but not sure if it’s feasible now.

First step being the online assessment dubbed 'virtual job tryout'. I am anxious about answering 'correctly'. Specifically because it asks if you are competitive, willing to stop what you are doing to help others or prioritize your own work. Applied for a position in Johnson and Johnson Canada. Reached the final round 3 weeks back. After not getting any updates I emailed the HR a couple of weeks back. They responded back telling me that they’ll have an update for me the next week. Again I emailed them on Thursday asking if they have anything for me before the long weekend ( Good Friday & Easter). No response whatsoever. Will emailing them again be inappropriate? I desperately need this job

I'm currently working at ZS and applied to Novartis through a referral around 3-4 weeks back. However I still haven't heard from the HR.

Is the hiring process at Novartis generally very slow?

HR is scheduling the interviews without checking time with me. One interview was scheduled and then it was rescheduled to a different time at last minute. I wasn't available at that time so I mailed the HR for a different slot. They again scheduled it for a later date without checking the time with me.

I am stupidly rejecting recruiters with legit offers because I am waiting for The One. The offer to end all offers. But they are taking entirely too long to notify me. They keep telling me to hold on.

Hey all, I’ve recently joined EY consulting from another Big 4 and have noticed there’s no discipline (at least in my team) around codes and charging time. People either charge a standard 7 hrs or some will charge time spent on internal activities to their client code.

I was told that “the last person to charge their actual hours worked was promptly booted off the project”.
