I'm stuck in a senior associate role..should I really go for partner? I’m seriously questioning my next move. I’ve been on the partner track at a big 4 firm for a while, and I’m wondering if it’s even worth the grind, the pressure, the politics..if you were having doubts would you jump ship to a less intense path?

I have chronic health issues and I’m severely depressed. I can’t even get myself to work anymore. If I don’t quit, I’m in serious danger of being fired. I feel that I need to just quit and take time off to get better but feel that it will be a stain on my career. I’m a pretty junior lawyer. Any advice. I just can’t do any work at all and I’m my anxiety and depression is spiraling out of control. I see a therapist I try to cope and it’s not working.
