Leave a federal government job to find WLB? Seems counterintuitive.
I have been applying for job after job. It is a little discouraging. I am so ready to get back to work. I will just keep on keeping on.

You have to have very deep pockets to leave your job in this current job market it's been very tough for years and years and years andxyears, but the big orange knucklehead head and his administration and most of the Republican politicians have made it so much worse by all they're authoritarian like maneuvers ie; firing all those federal employees, the tariffs that made company fearful and lean by mass layoffs and tightening up their ships to stay profitable and the ongoing ever increasing inflation brought on by the big orange ones tariffs because of a basic lack of knowledge of comics and the instability of our democracy our fragile democracy brought on by the big orange ones desire to turn our country into authoritarian regime lead by you guessed himself and this fear has translated into people not wanting to spend their money, because honestly no one really knows if the whole system the political system and economic system is going to totally collapse because again you guessed it the big orange one and his administration and many of the Republican Politicians, so that's my strong believe and I wouldn't quit my job if you still have one to begin with in the 1st place as many more people are being let go then are being hired one caveat is if you do already have a job, but want or need better for whatever reason hopefully a legitimate reason then I would keep applying for other roles better roles as I do, but also do keep it in mind not on an ethical basis, but a shear realistic fact that they're a multitude, a huge growing number of people looking for a new job after losing their job quite sometime ago or more recently that have been able to get re-employed !

Brian, me Boyo. If you can't see what's happening to our once great democracy because of project 2025's agenda that has already accomplished 65% of the their goals under Trump 2.0 and his WackaDootle Administration and many of the Republican Politicians maybe you thoroughly need a reality check, because it's rough economically, politically, it good you admit Trump is a criminal, treasonous, law breaker, but they all need to be hauled into. Ourt and found guilty and locked away for a very, very, verylong , long time ! No One Is Above The Law !

Congratulations!
Thanks. I still don’t know when the right time is to let go of my current company. Part of me feels ready for a change, but another part is unsure if now is the best moment. It’s hard to figure out the timing.
I think I stayed for the people. But then realized I’m basically being a puppet and staying for the people. I wasn’t staying for my family.

That’s a big part of the equation. Don’t quit. Keep looking til you find what you want or what you’re willing to settle for. A lot of people are and have given up. Sometimes it’s a war of attrition.
I was the Vice President of a supplier to the Military and Federal Government.
Congratulations! This similar situation happened to me several years ago. Everything always works out when you are determined and work hard for something.
Congrats!
