Many large companies have an L & D department - Learning and Development. They develop and present training for employees. Just a thought.

Check out what HSET1 said. I have a cousin in NY, Long Island, that teaches at a company and makes way better money, plus the benefits. I know NYC has great benefits and a a great pension for teachers, but that is a great idea!! I'm in my last year...39th. If I weren't, I definitely would look into this.

English teacher- you could look for proofreading jobs- newspapers, magazines, company flyers and mailings.

Education Coordinators often require Masters in Curriculum & instruction and Admin or Principalship licensures because they may need to evaluate teachers.

Teacher trainers or sales for textbook companies. Who better to help a teacher see the benefits of a product in the class than a person who has taught?

Thanks!

I know what you mean. I had this feeling two years ago and I became an education coordinator. It was a good decision for me. I feel like I have a much better work life balance.

Do you still want to work with children? If so, I would recommend becoming a youth counselor. A social worker would also be a great option, but it would be a heavy job.

I don’t think those would be avenues I would be interested in perusing. Thanks though
