Hi Folks, I submitted documents 2 weeks ago for BGV in Tech Mahindra. I have not got any response so far from HR. However, last week they scheduled another interview and dropped me email just before 15 mins, yet i joined the interview but no one joined from their end. Now, HR is not responding. What should I understand from this case? Am I rejected? Tech Mahindra Tata Consultancy

It's important to be cautious of unsolicited job offers, as legitimate companies typically don't proactively seek out employees in this manner.
Hi there, can you message me? I was reached out about a similar position from the same company, thanks.
My first contact from them was just over a week ago. Are you working with them still?
Any update you received >>
I do have updates. So did research into the company, and it was a legitimate Japanese company, and the executive and HR director seemed like legitimate people.
The HR director instructed me to carry their conversation over on Skype. And gave me their profile. We chatted more over there, and they gave me the run down of their organization. They were looking to get interviews started and a team assembled by August 19th. I told them that while this looks like a great opportunity, I can't leave my current role right now. Plus, $260,000.00 per year just seemed to good to be true. We discussed if I could possibly work part time with nights and weekends.
Their response was that they understood, and the next day to give them a schedule where I could work. I gave them a part time schedule for certain nights. And they said they can agree to that if I can deliver on the goals. But I hadn't even been interviewed yet. They said that I would be a great asset to their potential team, so they are trying to be flexible. I asked them how interviews will be conducted since I am not a fluent Japanese speaker. They stated the two rounds of interviews would be conducted through Skype so they have proper documentation for the messages.
I'm still not sure about this. I keep hearing scams are getting more and more elaborate lately. Maybe I'm overthinking this?
Just be really careful because there are SO many employment scams out there that look 100% legit. I am always leery when someone reaches out to me to say they found my resume because I don't really have my resume out there where just anyone can find it. I just do a lot of research and kind of go with my gut so I don't get scammed.
Offering you that kind of money before an interview smells funny. Do they have a liason here? And someone here said companies don’t often make unsolicited offers which i think is right on. Idunno would love to see how it turns out. Dont give them any financial info or spend any of your own money i guess. I’d think if they were legit they would bring you over to japan or send someone here to ease any reservations for both of you.
Definitely sounds scammish. Don’t give them any of your financial information if you plan to try und see if it’s legit
Be careful. If they ask for routing numbers and things of that nature after interviews when they say you have the job, I suggest getting a prepaid card or a Capital One account that can be done online for free. Also there are other card that’s free to start out with just in case. This will help ensure that if it is a scam, they will not have anything attached to your main banking source. Best of luck, and I hope it’s not a scam.
I cut all contact with them. I should have trusted my gut. No money or personal information was given out.
I've been working via Skype with two of DCM Holdings' principals. They're asking me to wire money for IT equipment, part of onboarding, to a provider in North Carolina. I'm dragging my feet at this point. This is an elaborate deal if a scam, but then if they're scaling it, it could be lucrative. All info they've shown me on the company execs is available online, and no in-person contact due to the language barrier. I'd sure like some way to verify moving forward.
That definitely sounds like a scam my friend. Please do not wire them the money. They are supposed to pay YOU.
