This is twice now in back to back weeks my boss has asked me where the disconnect was in our communications because I didn’t deliver on what “was asked”, even though I know damn well what was asked and what was done were the same thing. I’m not sure if he’s changing the meaning or isn’t communicating what he’s envisioning or what but it’s embarrassing to be called out like that, and to have people think you’re the dumb 23 year old.

Need tips & encouragement for how you have gotten out of a slump in the past. I am 3.5 yrs in and have seen my practice growing (some quarters better than others ), but Q219 has been really tough.

Hello, I have a final panel interview coming up for a Strategic Product Consultant role at Procore (Construction SaaS). It’ll be 3 separate interviews, 30 minute each with a Team Lead, a Senior Consultant, and a Customer Success Manager.

After 2 years of a pandemic and working independently for many years, I am not feeling interviews AT ALL. There are points in the interview where I want to just say "Look! Either hire me or don't".

I've had three interviews so far: 1) with the recruiter, 2) with the hiring manager, 3) with the lead of an adjacent division. I was contacted by the hiring manager (just 5 days after interview 3) asking if I was still interested and if I'm available for another meeting. He mentioned it would only take 30 minutes. I’m most familiar with 1 as it’s the audience I work with at current job. Not enough info/experience with other 2 segments. Remaining segments I know enough but not as confidently.

Will it look like I took the easy way out if I chose my segment? They know it’s my current audience and has been for 8 yrs. Would love to hear your thoughts!

I recently had an interview with BNY for an Analyst role located in DE. The interview went well and I was informed by the recruiter that the team was interested. They asked if I was willing to relocate immediately, and I told him that my decision would be best made if I see an offer. I have not yet received a follow up after this(coming on two weeks) so I know that I've been ghosted. My question is, was I wrong to ask to see the offer before making a decision?
