In my first tech sales job, the pressure to hit quotas has been pretty intense. When deals don’t close, I start second-guessing myself. What mindsets or habits helped you deal with setbacks early on and keep your energy up?

Focusing on daily progress and celebrating small wins instead of obsessing over big targets. For me, the support I got from my teammates was so crucial. See if you can find a group of mentors or just people to lean on at work. It'll do a lot of help.

I totally agree with this.

Treat those setbacks as continuing education. They're learning experiences. Analyze each of them objectively, see what you did wrong (if anything, it could just be a bad timing issue) and how you can improve moving forward. Then get out there and focus on closing the next.

If you can’t find a mentor, see if a trusted peer can provide reality checks.
