I joined Tiger Analytics with CTC of 9lpa. When I check in greythr IT statement, it shows 7.14lpa.
In the CTC payslip, it shows 75k per month as my salary. But this month I got 61k.
I understand they deduct tax, but I feel it is too much. IDK where I'm losing the money. Can someone tell if this is normal. I'm a fresher so, IDK much about it.
Also, what can I do to pay less taxes? Any help on that?

HR will always be involved even if you navigate a scenario without talking to us and only work with a manager.
We need to do the updates in the systems, generate a salary update document, adjust your benefits, make sure payroll is aware, make sure you’re still within the salary band and/career matrix, is there a competitive candidate with similar experience for less, etc.
It depends how the company operates, so your may or may not speak with us, but we are involved - always.
It would be the same thing as a client asking for a new software feature or requirement, you may or may not speak with the client, but the PM or account manager will, then it goes to the project/product lead and then the technical team gets the requirements and starts their sprint.
Salary is already set. Now if you want to negotiate something more to your "worth" it'll depend on if they think you're skills are worth it. For example: people wanting to be paid more because they speak a second or third language and how that will be an asset to the position you're seeking to be placed in.
The benefit package shouldn't offset that however they may want to tweak it 🤔
I've always prefered startups when it comes to salary negotiation because you are dealing with the same person or two for pretty much everything. At a bigger company, HR has always been involved.
HR Is always involved. That's one of its core functions. I've yet to receive an offer or have any sort of salary discussion without someone from HR being present.
Depends on the company and who really has the power.
