Currently interviewing for a role at Amazon that is listed as a CW position, but I have direct experience in the product and capabilities this role is seeking, and the hiring manager is moving me forward. What is the likelihood that if I tried to negotiate from a CW to FTE, I would get the position?

I have 6 years of experience . I had an interview with amadocs. It was smooth and I answered most of the questions. At the end the interviewer asked me about salary expectations. I told him 22L and he was kind of surprised and told me that HR will get back to you . Does it mean that they are no longer considering me for the role? I just offered an intern a full time position as an account coordinator with a starting salary of $50k. They have only been an intern for 2 months and have no prior experience. They acted like $50k was a huge slap in the face. Am I crazy for thinking $50k is reasonable for entry level in Toronto?
