Hi all,
I joined KPMG around 3 months ago but I am not getting work here. Although, I qualified some project's interview, yet due to some internal reason, they considered someone else, and I again came on bench.
I am unable to figure out what can be done now.
Should I start searching work outside.
(I hardly see any job openings these days)

How's the resource management here?
(do they lagOff?)
Any inputs will be helpful.
Thanks!
I was interviewed at EY UK on 7th Sep. It was quite smooth. Since then I haven't heard anything back from them though interviewer claimed SLA to get back with outcome of interview is 48 hours. On portal it still says I'm in hiring team phase. It was level 1 interview.
Should I take this delay as rejection?

Normal. Took me 3 weeks to hear about an offer after a final round
Sometimes they have to go through internal approvals before giving you an offer, or they might be interviewing other candidates. Different firms will have different processes and not everyone is efficient.
Without being dishonest, you could follow up and put a deadline on them. I was recently waiting for an offer and (truthfully) told them I had another offer on the table with a deadline, so they were able to tell me ASAP that I was a yes although it took them another week to get me the formal offer.
I interviewed this past Friday and haven't heard back. Not much compared to this delay, of course. Curious about how I should go about demonstrating interest and patience? Should I reach out to the recruiter with a thank you note and say I look forward to hearing something soon?
Normal. Relax. And don't email her 20 times between now and then.
Yes
Yes what @accenture1?
That is weird unless they are reviewing other candidates and are on the fence with yours. I interviewed with Amazon once and that is what happened with mine. If they want you they will let you know as soon as possible.
@pwc1 did you follow up or just wait for the recruiter?
Did amazon get back to you with an offer or with a no?
So should I just show a bit of patience and just follow up on Friday? It would be two weeks by then.
Yes I would do that
Yea that's what I did PWC. Said it was great meeting the team etc.
I don't have another offer though. :s
And really want this one
Yea. Not emailing for now. When is it okay to email and check in? Thoughts?
What kind of role is it?
