Hello fishes🐠. Can anybody guide me on the dress code followed in the BlackRock London office? Will be joining soon and want to ensure I dress appropriately (My current workplace is very casual, people wear jeans and sneakers). For context, a woman joining in a role that is not client facing, not portfolio manager. Thanks in advance.

You’re at Havas. You’ve got a tougher stomach than you think. Hang in there, and the next agency is surely going to be better
I feel you. Been looking for months and lucky to get an actual rejection vs ghosting.
The part that burnt the most was they said they went with a candidate with client-side experience. Guess I’ll be stuck in this hell forever?
Daydreaming about all the benefits we talked about - strict 9-5 hours, half day Fridays, sign-on bonus, stocks, etc.
Bottoms up! 🥃
When people talk about working at agencies I'd kill to work for as if it's a prison sentence... :(
Look at it this way: you got a crystal clear signal about what you really want. Feeling that excited and getting turned down (the first time, btw) is WAY better than getting the offer, but having that queasy unsure feeling about accepting. You're going in the right direction. Drink a toast to your bad self.
Well...put your hat in the ring for a job and go directly to jail.
Hop back on the client side bandwagon then. There are plenty of other fish in the sea
I would killlll to go client side but the job market is so tough rn
You will get the next one! Just keep going
What client?
Freelance - that’s a great perspective, thank you for that!
Hang in there and keep trying
They're more client-side fishies in the sea.
