interviewing at a Publicis agency on the west coast. what’s the latest with RTO and how strictly they’re enforcing it? still mandatory 3x a week? if so, what days? and if you do go in, is there a minimum amount of time you’re expected to clock in? been a while since it’s come up in this bowl, so thought i’d ask.
Enforced when they want it to be. Won’t get raises or bonuses for agencies that track. And could be fired like the media agencies did last year. But also if you’re asking this, might not be the place for you.
Flexible PTO but depending on the team or agency that can be a great thing or bad thing. Mandatory 3 days a week and can't wfh 2 days in a row. Some agencies and teams have specific days that they are required to come in while others only care about 3 days.
Yes to 3 days a week and yes to enforced.
Also, Monday is one of the days we're supposed to go in. So that of course leaves Mon-Tue-Thu, Mon-Wed-Thu, or Mon-Wed-Fri. And yes this even applies if your entire team is located elsewhere.
I haven't heard of any firings for non-compliance since Pub Media did it last Oct but that doesn't mean it's not right around the corner to keep Wall St. happy.
