I recently joined nagarro.... was on bench for almost a month as I was not getting project as per my skill set. Recently got one project as per my skillset and cleared client interview also.
But during the time, I was also looking outside for good opportunity, I have one with same package from a product based organization.
What should I do now ? If I resign , would Nagarro release me early or I will have to serve complete notice period?

One of my favorite podcasts did an episode on Adderall. Most of the info won’t be new, but there were some interesting snippets in there. I also thought it was a useful educational resource to share with your family and friends.

Hey OP: limit is absolutely personal. I can speak for myself so please take it as such.
I built a house for my parents, and bought land for my future house. My goals before going back are
1. Construct house for myself
2. Ascent to a director level position in US for better exit opps globally.
3. Invest at least $60K-$80K in US stocks and leave them for like 10 years or so (even if I go tomorrow). Assuming that gives 5-8% stock annual growth + currency appreciation.
4. Save at least 1 crore savings in India as emergency fund
5. Secure a job in India that pays me at least 50 lacs (assuming I can get that if I go back as director).
I am thinking I am 2-3 years away from my goal above.

Thank you C1. I appreciate it.
It depends on person to person. 300 k is not enough for retirement but good to start a new life in India.
Yeah not planning to retire just a fresh start in India
I am in early 30s ..reason I mentioned money is because After all analysis only pro US at this point was giving me was money ... no other big advantage I saw over living in India closer to family and friends.
300K ~ 2Crores ... even without any risky investment, u can earn upto 6% in FD. That’s abt 12L / Year. U shud be comfortable with that to take care of ur luxurious living expenses.
12L/yr plus a job that pays 40L/yr nets you a very decent life in India.

Are you saying that you have 300k so far and you plan to add to that from your 160k salary? And then eventually move to India once you have a good amount? If yes, What would you define as a good amount?
300k depends upon lot of factors. Place where your settle (HCOL, MCOL), house already paid off, kids education, estimated annual monthly expense after you move back, would you continue to work etc.

160k sounds about right for a big 4 M1/M2 salary. 2 crores, depending upon city, is a good cushion for expenses while you go about job hunting and settling down into a new life. Your regret question is very hard to answer. Have you worked in India before? Can you deal with the politics and boot licking required to get ahead? What kind of a job do you think you'll do there?
“Boot licking” isn’t required at many US firms based in India
How long did it take you to save that much? I say it’s decent money to get started. If you get a job there then you from my perspective this would all be your savings that you can grow plenty over the remainder of your career. I don’t see why it won’t be enough

It took around 4-5 years to save that
Do you also have some in 401k ? If yes are you going to let it stay there for retirement or withdraw it and add to your savings?

I have not thought about it, along with 401k I also have pension vested with EY.
How did you save $300k?
