Raise your hand if you are violently hungover
Any folks at EY willing to refer ?
Food for thought this a Friday. Quiet quitting has been trending for the last few weeks. This is problematic in two ways. A) Doesn’t actually identify the root cause for burnout (I.e abuse at work or poor company culture B) Completely dismisses a whole demographic of people unable to do the bare minimum without facing penalty. Any other thoughts? https://www.theroot.com/why-is-quiet-quitting-a-thing-for-white-people-but-n-1849407594/amp

Wow. Yea

Not huge risk but i dont really see them going up more
I make that as Manager at Accenture Federal with 7 yoe. Yes, that's a good salary for SC but you likely won't see much of a base increase until next year and won't be eligible for promotion until at least 2024. That will be 11 yoe still at SC. Something to think about.
1.75 years is still 2024 if they start today.
Based on your title I’m guessing you’re currently at Booz. Go get that bag homie
You probably won’t get better
I negotiated, and settled for 175k base +25k sign-on
Congratulations and best of luck!
I'd say it's too high actually
Because sr consultant typically maxes out at around $160k. D doesn’t bring in people at a higher level though so maybe they really need you.
That’s high. More M salary range.
Nah Sr Manager is typically at least $200k base.
$170 k is manager equivalent - you could even negotiate leveling up to manager. $20 k is a nice bonus. Overall, Deloitte must really want you! Do you have a specialized skill set?
Nothing special I just really fit their tech stack and got 3 AWS certifications
It’s pretty solid, take the offer
Thank you
170 is high for SC at Deloitte? Other big4 recruiters have told me that 200 is possible for their comparable level
Thank you for the info
This is in the range of what advisory pays its Sr. Managers
Rising Star
Good for a SC, bad for 9 yoe if they are all in consulting.
Guessing this is for strat?
Nice congrats. How are they assessing and ranking performance?
