I’m really trying to break into method development roles and I haven’t had the opportunity to do so with my analytical experience. A lot of my HPLC and LCMS experience is with already established methods. Any tips?

Three days later recruiter wants to give me a call and “give an update”. Schedules it after 2 days. This morning cancels last minute as they are having “internal discussions”. I was just informed after the third round of interviews they’d like at least 5 references, two must be supervisors. My last job was a temporary remote job where I didn’t really interact with my supervisor and the jobs before that were at my family’s business (I do not speak to any of them for serious personal reasons.) From the personal experience..if u r attending amazon interviews..pls discuss abt the package and the band prior to interview schedule.. or else it s jus a waste of time... band 4, 5 or whatever should be in the Jd.. don't go with verbal communication... thy ll change the plate quite often

I am a technical recruiter with three years of experience. I am currently interviewing at a series B tech start up located in CA for a fully remote position. I am currently in Texas and don’t have to pay state income taxes. I am making about 90 K and would love to bump up my salary from there. My question is, what is a fair salary to ask for that will factor in both the new income tax and a raise? My other question is what is a fair salary in general for somebody with three years experience?

I have recently accepted offer for Epam , but when i saw some glassdoor reviews .it mostly about job security . Do epam really fire employees if didn't select for client interviews.can i reject my offer once i accept it..?

I cleared all my rounds of interview in JPMC, had salary discussion with HR 2 weeks back. After which i was asked to apply the job on candidate portal and submit additional information.

Its almost 2 weeks and i haven't heard back anything from them. My status in portal shows "You are moving to the final steps in the process". This status has not changed since last 2 weeks.

First day of 30mg vyvanse today. Had a rush of energy and hyperfocus (too much so) about 2-4 hours in, but had a complete crash 5hrs after taking the pill (just a wave of fatigue, felt very good after a quick 15min nap actually) and not sure if it had any effect after. Is this normal? Should I stick it out for a few days or is this a big sign that I’m not on the right meds/dose? Nervous to keep trialling this during the workday since a midday crash is not ideal. Appreciate any advice!

What’s the bar of passing the first round at McKinsey like? if I didn’t do well in the same part of a cases for both interviews (ie reading graphs for high level insights and implications) would that be even worse than having different performance across other areas (ie not doing well in A on case 1 but not doing well in B on case 2)? I thought the quant was fine but i dont think i did well on graph reading for either cases. Pei was also fine and so was the rest of the case
