Put an application in and emphasise digital consultant skills, be it human centred design, customer journeys, prototyping, and preferably IT transformation program experience.
Don’t worry, I don’t have a MBA either and they took me. Totally non traditional path.
Time to apply = all the time. It’s not like Associate or MBA campaigns where there’s timed intakes that are quite rigid.
Note that we do have an army of screeners who will read your CL and your CV. We don’t do auto word screeners. The words I listed above are important, also digital lean processes, personas, value stream maps...
Write a strong cover letter. Show you can tell a story, be to the point, and include facts to back your statements. They care about you demonstrating this in your writing.
I have a science degree, worked for start ups, major banks innovation labs and about 10+ years in consulting in emerging tech/science. Grad dip (half mba) from Australia before I moved here.
I’m confident that I’m in the top tier of some of my skill areas and want to work with the best to keep getting better.
Where in BCG would I fit and how do I get their attention?
I won the green card lottery and moved over pretty quickly (as trump was alluding to cancelling it) so my network here is growing, but honestly it is weak at best.
Digital Ventures is on my radar.
