I had my first technical round of interview as Sr. Android developer with Tech Mahindra and It went well. How long does it take to know about the result. Also how many rounds are there? The interviewer refused to say his name nor he appeared on video in the interview. Is that the company policy? Tech Mahindra

It won’t do any harm
My boss still remembers mine
I’m a firm believer that it can seal the deal
Absolutely. It's easiest for internal applicants because you don't have to go through the recruiter to send the note, so an email is absolutely expected.
I never had. In the 7 offers Ive had in the past 2 years never sent one. I think they should be sending us thank uou's for even wanting to work for them lol
Sure, it's the polite thing to do. It may not make a huge difference. But generally speaking, people want to work with people who have good manners and observe formalities. May not be as true as it used to be, but proper etiquette can matter.
Leaves a good impression still. I’ll do it after an internal job interview because I can easily find the interviewer’s contact info and I can continue building the connection. Occasionally if I really want the job, I’ll send one after other interviews. I would hope not sending a thank you note isn't the reason why someone didn’t get the job though.
Might help - might not. If you want the job why chance it. It’s quick to do and you’ll never regret doing it. Might regret it or wonder what if you don’t.
I sent them.. feels different knowing I’ll still be working with them and seeing them around.
