Can a person on H1B in US work in Canada as WFH? Any work authorization needed?

Will basically continue working for US employer but wondering if possible to spend long amounts of time in Canada. (Have tourist visa)

Seems like hiring has slowed down but i feel we are in for another bout of great resignations due to companies calling it's employees back now and employees finding ways to continue WFH. The ones who get lucky continue WFH while not so lucky ones will start switching and startups and other mid level companies cashing in on the talent. Looks like it's the lull before the storm.

What is everyone's at home work setup? Extra monitor? Etc?

And I know many will say don't work at home but there are times I can work from home instead of the office so it's to my benefit

I joined MakeMyTrip in April. I got married in June. My husband works in hyderabad and we stay with his family. So I asked MMT to extend WFH for me. Full remote is not a possibility as per the company policy. I would love to work for product based companies like MMT. Since summer started, working from home has been a blessing. I’m tanner than ever since I’m not stuck in the office until the sound goes down. And there’s something awesome about taking a conference call sitting out by the pool. It makes me feel way more important than I am.

How does your company manages HR or team building activities in WFH model ? is it effective in refreshing you or team culture ? Or is it just an extra overhead now ?

I feel it was a good break/refresh when at office but now it really feels just an extra overhead siting on desk pretending to have fun when you can ACTUALLY have rest/fun by just taking break for that time and instead interact with people around yourself AT Home. Feels more refreshing.

Hi, just got an offer from A&M as D (Performance Improvement). The base from Glassdoor is accurate (US as a benchmark). Bonus is much higher than my current. Anyway the base seems very low compared to S& SA in US.
1) is it true that the base is that low compared to junior-mid level at S&?
2) i am based in Asia, any different rate compared to other region at A&M?
3) the TC can be 3x that what I can get currently, but i can make partner in few years at PwC. Do you think A&M should be considered?
