I have a desk-mounted dual monitor stand with 2 HP monitors, laptop is docked in the drawer and the only other thing on my desk is a wireless mouse and keyboard. I love working from home because of how effective it is
I find anything more than 2 is overkill for 95% of tasks I do. If I had a third screen, it would just have like Skype or outlook pulled up, and that’s a huge productivity kill
Giant extra monitor is essential.
Two 24” monitors with laptop stand ($300)
ergonomic desk chair ($400+)
Adjustable standing desk ($500)
Ergonomic floor mat ($80)
And yet our partners picture all of us “wfh” as lying on our couches all day. I work from home *because* my setup at home is way better than what the office chooses to provide.
What is the chair you are using?
Same as SA1, I have two HP monitors in a dual monitor stand. Only difference is my third monitor is a wall-mounted 42” TV with an HDMI cable running from my docking station.
It’s not as clear as the monitors because there isn’t a good resolution setting for it, but it’s fine for having like prior year workpapers or something while I’m in Excel on the clearer monitors. Also it’s so wide I can easily do split screen on there to do side-by-side tax return reviews, etc. It works.
I like working from home better purely because I like my setup better. 30some inch monitor, my laptop open, and other screen the same size as my laptop beside it. Having the giant screen is so helpful for excel since you don’t have to scroll much at all
Two monitors, my laptop sits in the middle on the laptop stand as the third monitor. Keyboard and mouse on a pull out tray. Two desk back to back, one has all those stuff and one has a printer and desk lamp only, in case I want to do some focused reading. Whiteboard on the wall to the side, above a console table where I put my keurig. I work 50% at home so I want it to be just like a partners office💪
I have my MacBook Pro, with an external monitor, wireless keyboard with number pad, wireless track pad & use my iPad Pro as another screen for google drive files
