Is an interview with the hiring manager usually the last step in the process? I feel like I've seen a few different things.

I enjoy being asked for samples when I featured my website 3 times through email. In the body, my signature and my resume. I spend 100~/year on it. It has my entire portfolio... 😒😒😒

I’ve been in the SE role for over a 1 year now, coming directly out of undergraduate. My company’s pay is low compared to what I’ve seen at other companies but I do enjoy the work and the organization. When is it appropriate to ask for a raise and how long should I stay in the role before I start looking at other companies?

When I interviewed they told me I was not required to recruit but now I’m required to upload 50 “My Relationships” every certain amount of months where other recruiters can technically go after my contacts and recruit them and also am expected to invite potential networking to events and through the beaker model. Is this required? I feel forced and I’ve only been here for less than a month and I’m not loving this approach.

Doesn’t feel great when the job you are interviewing for (that wasn’t advertised at all) is posted on Linkedin a few days after you interviewed 😞 Gotta keep looking...

Relatively new in Big4 M&A advisory doing mostly integration work with some pre deal DD mixed in. I recently heard L.E.K. Consulting places well in MM PE but don't know much about them otherwise. Interviewing with a small (50 people) boutique firm in a management position. They are in an industry I have 10 years of experience plus I have 5 years management consulting experience in B4 firm. Assuming the pay and potential bonus are reasonable what kind of challenges would I be in for?
