I'm looking to find a job like the Forward Deployed Engineer role Palantir Technologies in the UK.
I have become hooked on finding a job that involves solving the kinds of problems they presented during their interviews. Although I got to the final round my performance anxiety got the better of me (I think I wanted the job a bit too much...). I will reapply after working in a similar company.
Is it "deep tech" / "data science" or "smart enterprise" that they're doing? Any advice welcome.

Make sure your resume does not reflect your age. Don’t put dates, especially college graduation dates unless they are within the last 10 years. Don’t put your first job on your resume! Put current information only. Good luck!
I have been doing that for a long time now! It's also important not to include this in online applications that companies have you fill out in addition to uploading your resume.
It’s ageism and it’s very common unfortunately
Hang in there. Some companies value experience.

In that boat. There is nothing on my resume to indicate my age. I only go back 7 years on my resume. Ageism is totally illegal and happens every damn day.
Age discrimination should be targeted, how is anyone expected to retire if they can not work until retirement age?
Age discrimination is rife. Reach out to former colleagues and contacts who know you and how good you are at your job. As others say, don't put your age on CVs or include info that could reveal your actual age. Maybe try contracting as that may be an easier way in. Good luck.
I've found that past colleagues have not been reticent in helping. In fact, a recent article stated people who do not have any connections to you on LinkedIn in particular, are more likely to help. Who knows? After all just a few months ago job hopping to get better pay was prevalent, now you are lucky to have a job.
Have you tried using a recruiter?

How would they know you’re 60?
Looking on LinkedIn at your picture. Resumes that need to include many relevant past work experiences. During video interviews.
