May I know what is the notice period if one resigns in infy during the first 6 months of joining? I am a lateral resource and they hired me in June, but they have no projects related to my tech and want me to take weird roles.. seems they are hiring to increase employee count and cross training most. just looking for options..

I tend to overwork myself and it’s really taking a toll on my mental well-being. I want to learn a lot and prove myself to my superiors so that they recognize me/see value. Now my work has a sense of dread to it. I watched my parents be workaholics growing up, so it’s all I know. I’m also goal-oriented and driven, so achieving a lot scratches that itch for me. But, it’s making me want to quit cause I’m burned out and depressed….im not sure what to do. Any suggestions would be helpful.

My buddy was a Oracle sales consultant, just made manager, and he is 100% a sales guy. I honestly don’t know what they do, sales guy BS I assume. For whatever that’s worth to you
It’s very different. You’re a gloried sales leader at OSC. You don’t do any implementation work. You essentially get leads and hand it off to the big dog at the top of the food chain.
I came from there! You have a high sales goal and they don’t even tell you you’re territory before you
get in. Unless you know someone on the inside.
You don’t do implementation because Oracles hand it off to partners like velocity etc. usually whichever partner has a good deal and they trust each other.
Many people left because they sold big pieces of technology and did not get the commission.
Oracle is notorious for making clients sign technology contracts and then they come at them with a lawsuit years later telling them they haven’t been paying support all those years which the client didn’t know. There’s a lot of shady tactics like all big corporations.
It’s a fun young work environment. Really interesting technology and lots of smart people. Lots of great benefits like 401k and medical. Like amazing! You could always do it for a year then transfer. Depends what you want at the end of the day
