Is anyone here content with just being a run-of-the-mill creative? Does there come a point where you’re not seen as valuable anymore?

I’ve been in the industry for five years now and basically made nothing good or interesting (I work at a big nyc holding company owned agency).

I’m already in my mid 30s so I’m getting worried that l’m getting to the point where I’ll be knocking on 40 with the book (and salary) of a 26 year-old.

Any insight on CAIA? Difficulty and whether it impacts salary?

Hi all, I currently work 52-55 hours on average weekly and have been at my company for 4 months. I am now the only operations team member and am expected to complete all ops work alone. (Barely got trained to begin with). I work in Manhattan as well so I’m not sure if my 70k+15-20% bonus is standard or if I’m being very underpaid, especially considering that it is an employees market. Thoughts?

Just became an ACD. Im in a limbo. Half of the time im being treated as a Super Senior AD and the other half im being treated as a Almost CD. Then when im scoped over work that my CD and I oversee, some people are asking me how does my role differ from the CD’s, as they tend to look at me as an unnecessary layer for approvals.
