Is buying a rental property in Kyle,TX worth it ?

For the folks that bought an a second property (rental) with less than 20% down, how did y’all pull it off ? 10 % down payment is all I can afford.

How long do you guys think it will take for rental prices to rebound?

Looking for a new apt, and noticed 24 month leases cost more net effective (obviously because prices should increase next year).

For those of you who got out at 10, do you wish that you rode it out to 20? I’m at a crossroad and I’m not sure what to do. Have some active/reserve time, wrapping up graduate school, and am now considering either a) come back to the business world or b) go active and retire before 50 and live off a nice pension. Obviously there are draws to both. I’m an officer for what it’s worth so I can realistically retire at O-5, MAYBE O-6.

What’s it like in these SF Bay tech companies ? With the crazy benefits and high pay ? Any tax folks here can shed light on difference between that and PA?

Hey fishes, can someone tell me how the 80c bracket works, i know i can get exempt upto 1.5lakh under it, what i wanna know is does PF comes under it or not? For example if my yearly pf deduction is 20k and VPF is 10k so now will i still be able to show investment of 1.5lakh under 80c apart from PF and VPF or i'll be able to get exemption on only 1.2 lakh( 1.5lakh-30k= 1.2lakh)?

I am not understand that message. I entered my housing rent on portal..

Is the HRA and house rent factor in salary are the same.

And LTA is depend on HRA amount.
