Is consulting a prestigious profession in Singapore or SEA more broadly? Are big 4 consulting firms respectable there, like in the UK or US?

Hi all, I’d love to hear from PR/Comms folks about the process of transitioning from agency to an in-house role. What kind of chance does a PR pro with ~7 years of solid experience across CPG and hospitality brands, including a mix of global agency work and smaller boutique firms, have at going in house? Do you typically need more experience before going in house? Would be great to hear about various experiences from those that have made the transition. Thanks!

Detour or shortcut, my goal is to be in strategy consulting. Is it better to just wait for a couple more years and then go directly into strategy consulting? Are IT DD and ODD experience viewed favourably by strategy consultants?
