Bain & Company Is FTI Consulting considered to be reputable in the region? Do Tier 1 and Tier 2 firms consider an offer from FTI to be “valid” leverage to negotiate an offer (Title/grade, signing bonus, etc.)? TIA

FTI recently acquired delta partners (which has a strong TMT focused consulting arm), delta partners specifically is reputable in TMT and known to have one of the top compensations in the industry
MBB doesn’t really negotiate offers, they’re standardized for the most part.
We don’t negotiate salary on offers below MDP (with the exception of expert roles)
Maybe if you’re expert track where there’s ranges for roles. Unlikely otherwise.
Also the odds of FTI offering higher comp seems… minimal. OW and ATK are the only tier 2s I know that match or beat us.
In Europe: S& and OW‘s salary > our salary.
And in year 1 (due to bonus being capped) even EYP and Monitor Deloittes salary exceeds ours. Don’t know about ATK, didn’t interview with them.

What I meant is let’s say I get an FTI offer for a manager or consultant, can I use it at Kearney or Roland where I was offered an analyst role to get a higher title. Tagged MBB because many MBB in the region make the shift from Tier 2 firms so figured someone might have some answers haha.
Maybe Accenture would negotiate with you with an FTI offer.
