I had my last round of interview (3rd round) 3 weeks back in Citi and my hiring manager told me that recruitment process is fast in Citi so you will hear from HR very soon for the next step but HR is not responding my phone and email. My profile is showing under business review stage. What is the meaning of business review? How long should I wait for the response? I really need this job.

Hi Fishes, I am bit confused to pick the role in KPMG lighthouse as Sr Cloud Data architect or Saama technology as a Project lead. Money wise it is not a big difference. In KPMG I will work with partner where as in saama I will work with project/program manager. Please suggest your opinion. Saama KPMG KPMG India

Independently. 99% of recruiters are trash.
They're a mixed bag. Have had both good and bad experiences. I do appreciate that they can expedite the process and help find you something quickly. However, they can also be shady and just try to shove you into whatever role to get their cut. I'll listen to some of them but am always skeptical.
Independently. Recruiters really are one of the worst people in business out there.
Every time I took a job thru a recruiter I regretted it. Your experience may differ
Consider all avenues, but be deliberate about how you spend with recruiters or applying for roles they post.
I been using both in my job search. There are a couple of good recruiters, most of them have ghosted me. It was a waste of time to send them my resume and do a zoom interview with them.
I use both. I will say that I get more interviews via recruiter (90% of applying via website has gotten me no response!). Last time I looked for a job I got 5 offers and 4 were via recruiter, 1 via indeed.
Most recruiters are there to get you the first job they have available so they can cash out quickly. But some are worth engaging. I’d personally avoid the ones from the big firms (Michael Page, Green Key, etc) and find a one-person company or a smaller team. They tend to be more personable. The pro of having a recruiter is they have incentive to get you the highest $ they can get because they’re paid by % of your awarded salary.
A recruiter will show you positions which you are qualified for and only those companies who are working with a recruiting agency. How does your experience align with the industry and job you are looking for?
I mean is your current industry experience aligned with what your looking for though? For example, if your current clients are all commercial industries, but you want to work at a PE fund then an external recruiter won’t be able to help you. You’ll need to do that search on your own because they’ll continue to just show non FS jobs.
Im using both. I was bummed a recruiter could get me interviews with my target co. but id already applied with no response.
