Can someone please explain why this exists in my paylslip, is it good or bad from tax perspective and shall I ask my HR to decrease it???
Please help asap.

This is Accenture office is bad as 'nam. Spike traps everywhere...
I don't think you're using workers compensation correctly. Unless Accenture is going to get rid of you by setting up booby traps at the office until you all get injured.
Push, but the lawsuits will be more expensive because they will combine illegal acts with workers comp. Risky, risky risky
Wow. Way to be an asshole A2. Im saying department is 50people.
Omg!! Bahaha. Thank you A4. Jesus. Unemployment!!! Thank god it's Friday!!
Ohh! That makes more sense.
Yes, they can lay you off because anticipated #s weren't met.
If they had some of retain severance plan, it may be worth it for them to pay you than keep you.
This is also separate from "unemployment" - which is an insurance tax they pay.
Good luck!!
Thanks A1!
Yep, it's called "anti-retaliation"
Sounds like there's no protection for the employees except to move elsewhere
? Are you suggesting that once employees hit 50 they should be pushed out and then replaced with younger workers? Maybe once it's your turn they will push people out at 45 and you will have time to care for your useless unemployed parents .
I'm guessing you're on a re-org project lol
@A3. I'm in one of the many department/companies that was acquired by Accenture. I've done some research and heard around the block that if they don't see #s they kinda give up on you and wait till you dwindle down to nothing. One of the comments I heard was that they get out of paying for workers compensation. Wanted to see if it were true or just speculation.
