Toxic environments result in incredible damage. People are often made to feel isolated, demeaned, pay inequities, work related stress and this spills over into other parts of your life.
But yes let’s worry about how the person responsible for the toxic environment feels and there reputation. Our parents and grandparents tried that and...

Aw shit, you’re right GG1... If a person or organisation repeatedly did or enabled a bad thing and haven’t thought to make it right by now, they deserve the fallout for their actions. Especially considering the fact that OP feels ripples from those actions into the future.
Pretty fucked up that my default instinct was to consider the well-being of the offender before that of the victim. I thought to give the organisation one last chance to admit their mistakes and make it right, but when has that ever worked?
Write it down and share it. I’m confident others with stand up. I had an issue and thought I was the only one. I wasn’t. But I only found that out because I started talking about it. You will see people will be saying me too. That’s how ‘me too’ turned into a verb that started to scare the industry straight. No one wanted to be “me too’d” because they’d be done. Game over.
Perhaps some kind of presentation or conversation (with receipts) with the decision-makers, framed as an ‘audit’ meant to help the company not get their reputation ruined?
Document your conflict and your actions to resolve it. If this does not change the situation, come with receipts to HR.
I left a job before knowing the right actions to take, and completely wish I had done all of the above.
