Houston downtown JW vs Westin.. Thoughts?
Guys there’s this boot camp that I came across that trains people to get jobs in Top consulting firms and has a fee plan wherein you pay once you get placed. I just wanted to know if someone here has any experience with this ?

Well at Deloitte - we’re like really selective. Like harder to get in here than Harvard. So, like, take your shot but don’t be down if it doesn’t pan out 💫
Nothing worth doing is easy, and no ... without PPMD sponsorship, getting hired by D is not easy regardless of background. Can’t speak for other firms
The real question is why?
I’m sorry - I used to be a rainmaker at Bain and tried applying to Deloitte (one of the big 4 [should be DMBB in actuality]), and was unfortunately turned down. I think I just wasn’t good enough 😔. I would suggest trying EY, PWC, or whatever the other one is. Don’t even waste your time with Deloitte unless you know someone higher up. Good luck to you!
I grab a hose and choose the sprinkler setting
The Big 4 will all jump for joy for MBB to come in
Seriously, why?
These comments gotta be a joke. I don’t know about easy but def doable. Maybe easy depending on your skills
Wtf
Arguing with children is always interesting ... at the end of the day, companies only spend so much on consulting. We own most of that spend, globally, full stop. That said, we don’t hire a lot of people from other firms. We just don’t need to. So ... feel free to tell us all what you thought was true because you heard about it on campus, but that’s not the reality we live in
Silly Consultant 1, the big D doesn’t need a recruiting team; people line up out the door to join. It’s harder than Harvard remember.
