Is it faster to get promoted internally and climb the latter within Google (Strat&Ops) as an early career higher or to come in from a consulting firm and move laterally into Strat&Ops?

Recently received 30k and wondering what to do with it. Not yet a homeowner but also not sure if we’re ready to buy anyways. Have a young baby. Any advice on how to figure out best use?

I’ve been having a super hard time concepting lately, especially knowing that the “concept” will mostly serve as a sticker to slap on the cover of a CVA and the top of a website. I feel like every pharma concept I’ve ever seen or created becomes so cheesy once it appears in tactics. Does anyone have any examples of HCP creative (non-DSA) that is both impactful and translates well into pharma tactics?

I have a few questions for people in consulting roles (both external/internal).

My partner is in corporate banking, but he wants to switch to a consulting/strategy-based role. I noticed people with those jobs typically have an MBA, and also majority of the job ads in similar roles has MBA as either a requirement or preferred qualification. So:

1) does MBA actually improve someone's chance in getting those roles?
2) are there any good Canadian MBA programs you'd recommend?

Applied to a job and was referred. My referral let me know ~5 days after I applied that they received an email that my application was passed to the hiring team. That was three weeks ago and haven’t heard anything from Google and my referral hasn’t heard anything. Job posting is still live. This is for a strategic initiatives role. Hi all, I am trying for role - Customer Engineer GCP. I have 5 years exp in (GCP cloud predominant for 3 years now) DevOps field in Financial Services area including FinTech (Fidelity Investments), Bank (HSBC) & Insurance(CNA Insurance - currently working). Also have a Masters in MIS. I have got & cleared calls from AWS for AWS Developer, Architect roles & failed on-site FB Production Engineer role interview. I have applied but not got a callback from Google? Any advice, highly appreciated.

Does interviewer nowadays still write early feedback prior to sharing the full feedback with recruiters?

Had on-site a month ago and recruiter has promised an update several times and not followed through. Anything I can do other than following up once a week? I think I’m the backup candidate but would be helpful to get more clarity

Got a verbal confirmation for an offer from recruiter. Now she is negotiating my pay with the compensation team instead of me. I thought I had to do the negotiations with that team? GCA Questions Help

I've had 2 rounds of interviews at Google (UK) for a non-tech role in Platforms & Ecosystems (L4/L5). Recruiter told me that I've been selected for the final rounds (GCA + Leadership Interview). From his feedback, one thing they wanted me to improve on was the GCA Questions. Would anyone have any tips on how to prepare for these? I've checked some of Jeff Sipe videos online but would appreciate any support! I find GCA quite stressful...

I am in a super good position at Jellyfish as a Director with a good room in terms of growth. Great responsibilities, work life balance and I strongly love my job. However, there is an opportunity to join Google Dublin as an Agency Development Manager (level 4) with strong salary, new challenges, different role and responsibilities etc. I HAVE A STRONG DOUBT about a trade off: is better to have a strong margin of growth and a good position or join Google with the above conditions?
