I always tip 20%. Not my money.
You should tip. But I’ve noticed it appears on Corporate Cards as separate expenses. Ex. 27 charge. 3 dollar charge. If I were Uber I’d make this one because I think it makes people less likely to tip because it’s extra work. But I always tip regardless
This is actually why I prefer Lyft any time I can take it. As long as you don't wait too long after the ride to tip, they will show up as a single combined charge.
I get them mixed up but Lyft credits your account after you tip so it's one charge. Uber have them as separate charges and that's annoying.
It was the guys birthday and he was a single father with two kids. I wanted to give him more than just 10% but it was a $70 uber ride already.
Nah, I summarized the story for you but I etched this information out of him during our 60 minute long car ride. I didn’t even hint that I was going to tip nor did I come off as a nice enough person to him. But you never know, people get really good at playing those games.
No, we are representatives of our firm and if you feel it is appropriate to tip then tip. I would only question it if the total cost was excessive for the situation that required the ride and an obvious cheaper option was available.
Check local firm policy, mine states reasonable tip allowed. If it's a local cab then it'll just be one price anyway and I would give a fair tip 👍
