Hi, got an offer frm BNP Paribas for 25lpa. I feel it's too low compared to market standards for my yoe. HR is not ready to negotiate. Says captive org's work culture is way better than service based org wrt yoy hikes and bonuses & asking me to make a choice if I get better offer from service based org😐 Yoe - 12.6 Offer - 25lpa (all fixed) Tech stack - reactjs / spring boot Corp title/ job title - Asst mgr / tech lead Is it worth it to join bnp despite less pay compared to other org's?

Happens, I also joined a new company and i am the first one in my team to join
I had to go for lunch alone, felt kind of left out and lonely.
In old organization knew hundreds of people personally and could ask anyone for lunch.
My team mates reporting to me, will join soon, will make sure they don't have the same experience.
How many yoe do you have? Is this your first switch?
I also felt the same after my first switch. In my first company there were a lot of freshers were put in training together and so it was a college like atmosphere and there were good bonds. Still in contact with some of them. After that I have switched four companies and still don't bother about these companies.
Regardless of switch it depends on how we are treating others. In my previous company, I was the first one who joined in the project. People with different experience level who joined after few years than me became my friends. In current company, I worked on two projects. In both, people won't speak anything and not even respond to the teams message.
In recent times it's common in all the companies. People hate to communicate with the colleagues especially with new joiners.

Currently its all WFH, and in new org mostly we connect for any work related tasks only and that's it, so there is nothing such as bonding and it makes an employee left alone. We dont get attachment with our colleagues.
In WFO directly or indirectly we used to chat, share thoughts with colleagues and understand them better as except work also we talked on multiple topics. I think team bonding sessions are important since it makes us feel like we are part of an org and not left out.
We also went on team parties and enjoyed with them as fam so in a way comparing that too we miss being in connect.
