Is it okay to add a manager, who I had an interview with on LinkedIn, even though I did not get the job?

Has anyone been fired? How’d you bounce back? How did you approach it when applying for new jobs? I’m legitimately worried I’ll be fired and could use some advice.

I have working as a Data Scientist in one of the leading analytics firm, I wanted to move to Google as Data Scientist, for which I'm taking a year of prep, someone plz guide me the way to prepare, upskill and crack their interviews.

I am a sixth-year associate overseeing a second year. They are an exceptionally good associate. I am honestly shocked at the work product I receive and the way they go above and beyond. The issue I have is that they sometimes take awhile to turn things around. For example, I ask for a draft response to the client, and they take three-four days. I know they’re busy, but I would like to address this in a positive way. Any suggestions?

I found out my senior sometimes sign off my initials in the audit file even though i have no recollection of working on a workpaper... why would they do this? Isnt this unethical?

Salary check. I am currently an in house attorney. 12 YOE. Large company with great coworkers doing regulatory work for the insurance industry. Good work life balance. I live in a high COL city. Out of curiosity and to test the market, I interviewed at a FAANG. Did not get the job, but found out TC was 350k, significantly higher than my TC 230k. I relocated with my family to Ireland recently, one month ago, and while I got a lot of screening calls with recruiters, I did not hear back from any of them after our interview. I am still on the process of getting my work permit and I am very clear about this during the interviews, but I suspect that this is the reason why I am not getting any call back. I'm holding an offer from MakeMyTrip and another offer from OlaElectric. Ninjacart is willing to make me an offer. But they're saying that they'd discuss the offer only after the other company that I'm interviewing with has come up with an offer first. There's been a delay from HRs of the companies in a similar way. How do I urge them to send me the offer letter without sounding pushy? I had reached out to some of the HRs myself. Would that be too awkward if I accept & back out their offer?

Does anyone have a similar experience? I interviewed with recruiters from two of "Big 4". Both interviews went well, and I was told the recruiters will submit my resume to the partners and senior managers for the next interviews. 3 weeks later, I received the rejection letters without the next interview. I wonder why the partners even not bothered to interview me. If it matters, I am a CPA with 3 years non-PA experience and applied for experienced associate positions. I appreciate any insights.

Trying to stay motivated, but I already know I'm putting in my notice soon... not really feeling it.

Feel like audit scheduling is always done on a knifes edge in that the timeline and staff schedules are enough so that if everyone works 60 hour weeks and no issues are identified then it can be filed on time. But even small things that increase the work can wildly throw off the schedule and cause hours to skyrocket for the staff on the job. No real point here, just ranting.
