Is it okay to ask for what the salary is at a first round interview with the recruiter? I just don’t want to waste my time if the salary isn’t what I’m looking for..

I would like to hear if any of you guys know how much an Instructor Therapist with 3-4 years of experience in the field could ask for a position in the Toronto area, Canada.

Looking at some roles at ZS and curious what level would be reasonable for me to “lateral” to given I’m performing as an SC but my job title is still C 😒. How do you think your company is faring the new market conditions, and do you think the measures taken have been fair? So far at KPMG no layoffs, but no bonus or merit increases. Promotion increases are still happening, but hard to tell if promotions are going to be that common. Overall I believe the firm has done a good job of communication of measures taken both economically and logistically (not returning to office till at least 2021).

Hi Sharks, I am in a dillema. Recruiter from a company called me that I am selected for the role. After 1 hour another recruiter called me to schedule first round, from a different posting. Immediately I didn't told her that I am selected as the first recruiter didn't completely closed and mentioned that she is awaiting written form.

Should I give the interview or call the first recruiter to clearly tell me that I am selected or not?

I’m sending resumes out far and wide, ideally I’d be in a new role ASAP. I’m already starting to get requests for phone screenings so formal interviews will probably be on the way. The kicker is that my wife is 6 months pregnant and our first child is due next February, which is busy season the public accounting jobs I am applying to. I feel like requesting paternity leave or letting them know a baby is coming will make hiring me more difficult. How do I approach this, and when do I do it?

1) One with CITI Bank with 100k salary and no sign on bonus and as it is in my home town as I stay with my family needs no relocation bonus required.

2) This is with American Airlines in Dallas Fort Worth which offered 100k + 10k bonus + 18k relocation bonus (required)
