Hi Fishes, Sometime back I was interviewed for Technical Support Job role in my domain. T1 went well. T2, in my understanding was better only (not great like T1 but not blunder. I felt it was nice and i replied majority of questions). They released the feedback after 10 days with "Not Positive". I am not totally sure with feedback as I replied majority of questions correct. I am being bit curious with "Microsoft" tag. What can be the reason?
Discussion appreciated.

Hi, I received offer letter from jpmc and accepted it. Today, HR told me that my offer was not processed since i had attended an interview and got offer from Mphasis for a JPMC client one year ago( which i declined later) . Could you please let me know, will it affect my current offer from JPMorgan Chase

I'm not going to go thru all the hoops to prepare for team interviews if the recruiter doesn't tell me approximate comp expectations during our intro call. Far too many times they reach out for roles paying approximately the same or less than my current position
Yes, you don’t have to agree on a final salary number yet, but maybe ask them for their budget for the role
100% ask. I’ve spoken with recruiters before and then found out comp was 50% less than I’m currently making. Saves everyone time n
Ask for the salary range on the first call with the recruiter (it doesn’t matter if internal or external). It’s information that will save time to everyone.

Better yet why don’t you just tell the recruiter your salary requirement? It will make the whole process much easier.

That can be tricky since some recruiters have blown me out of the water when it comes to my expectations vs what they were willing to pay. I'd say always let them go first so you can counter with better info if needed.
I’m going to go against the grain on this one. I think it depends on the company and the role. If they sought after you, then I think you have leverage. See what the first round is, it’s always good practice anyway. I did this and later negotiated a salary I was very happy with.

It’s always a sticky situation when it comes to asking about salary. I usually ask them what the salary range for the role is. If they don’t want to disclose that information then I throw out my number which is always inflated by 50%. That way, you can see if it’s within their range. If not, walk away. It’s worth the time or effort to interview for a job that doesn’t meet your salary requirements.
