Hey Fishbowl family - anyone working at EY-Parthenon that would be willing to chat with me about their experiences (with the potential of a referral)? I have total of 5 yoe specifically in Life Sciences and really would like to explore the potential of interviewing for their NY office. I have been able to land interviews/offers from other T2 firms but would really love to network and connect with EYP. EY EY-Parthenon
Hi fishes, My interview with Microsoft for SE2 was scheduled and cancelled a day before. Neither I received any email regarding cancellation nor the recruiter informed me. Two days later I got an email saying Microsoft is freezing hiring for certain departments and the recruiter is ghosting me. Will I even get a chance to interview atleast?
Hello everyone! I'm looking for an entry level Product Manager role at a Tech company. Currently I'm working at Cognizant as a Programmer Analyst Trainee Intern and will be graduating next month with a major in Computer Science. If there's any opening for Associate Product Manager in your org., please let me know!
I've been a team lead for multiple national level hackathons, built UX Designs, wrote PRDs, and learning more about PM.
I will be happy to share my resume. Microsoft Amazon Coinbase
Wanted to highlight Prudential Financial’s hiring practices. They rescinded my offer once I attempted to negotiate the salary. The official reason given was that I didn’t “sound excited enough”.
They then admittedly gave the offer to someone who was less qualified. There were other red flags throughout the job offer process that the HR team should overall be ashamed of.

No need for any IVY league degree. They have experienced hire tracks.
Good luck!
Could share more experience about? What topic they usually talk?
Only 1% care about the ivy league things on a resume, especially for anyone with any bit of experience.

I’m a state school product for undergrad and grad

I'm an experienced hire who went to state school for undergrad and grad, but I bring a lot of other industry experience.
It's about balance.

Big 4 has tons and tons of staff globally. There’s no way to fill the ranks exclusively with Ivy graduates. I definitely did not graduate from an Ivy, but I went to a school that’s better than most Ivies.
I know a few people who don’t have degrees at all but they had experience. Cold LinkedIn messages do work, however the most important thing is to network!
Any person that is Ivy that ends up in Big 4 is usually ashamed as the whole purpose to go to an Ivy is to get to Tier 2 or Tier 1 MBB if going the consulting track
You have the perfect profile!!
Start with school and firm alumni at any Big 4 + Accenture/IBM so you cast a wide net and reach out
Try to understand based on what client work you have done, what client work you want to do
Best of luck OP!!
Once you get in you”ll realize why we all want to gtfo (;
Honestly I think Ivy League is overqualified for B4. PwC global chair TR had a state school degree
Ivy for big 4 is crazy. Only ivy that is recruited from big 4 is Cornell — the rest, only for their strategy practices. Most big 4 grads come from lower/middle top schools, not top top schools
What about Big 3? Any thoughts on that?
I know Bain and BCG have a decent amount of SEC folks, but they’re all the top tier students from those schools. Can’t speak for McKinsey

Aren’t there like 5M people in Big 4? Certainly they can’t all be Ivy grads
Been in 2 big 4 for advisory and haven’t worked with any ivy leagues. Lots of good schools though outside of Ivy League .
If you are DEI
Very easy. Big 4 doesn’t usually hire from Ivy leagues

Titans of the most valuable companies on earth, and, no college degrees.

I could go to Times Square and find a lot of Elmos who also don’t have college degrees
Yes
Having worked at 2/4 the answer is YES.
lol ivy students don’t go to big 4, they go to MBB
Tons of state school grads at big 4
