Big law in the sense that it's big. But, no, comp. is not market big law.
Revenue wise, yea. Comp wise, no.
Nowhere near market, even in NY.
I’ll say if you are a young associate, it is a good place to learn and move on to bigger things. Multiple associates (6+) in my office (major market) have lateraled to V30 firms in the last month or so.
It's Big Law in that it's a huge AmLaw 100 firm. But it doesn't offer Big Law salaries. That also means they don't work you to the bone over there.
I hate this answer but comp is office specific as well but that said, not big law scale
Not biglaw. Cobbled together insurance defense firms.
I thought that was Lewis Brisbois…

OP, what’s the context? Comp? Reputation for quality? Influence?
I would not work at Jackson Lewis unless you strike out at other BigLaw firms or firms specializing in labor and employment. It’s not a bad firm but there is too wide a variance in skill and training level to start at a firm like that unless you lack other choices.
