Is less than 1 year work ex (say 9m) sufficient for MBA to get into MBB consulting firms from top tier IIMs?

Anyone can opine on HKS MPA-ID? I have MBA admits and want to continue working in ID post-MBA but this school just came up on my radar. I dont have money but just thinking long term if I should invest in applying and going. Dual citizen. Thoughts?
