If you want this job why risk it? First impressions matter
OP I don’t think you need to put on makeup. My girlfriend works at McKinsey too and she has never worn an ounce of makeup. I think showing up tidy and neat is all you need (maybe brush your hair so it’s not crazy, making sure your shirt isn’t dirty etc etc).
When I was interviewing, my recruiter told me not to take offense if the interviewers were not dressed up (e.g., they might be in yoga sweats). I think culture is generally more lax now with zoom but I would still put in an effort.
“You can never be overdressed or over educated” 😉
I have a recruiter screening with mckinsey in October. Defintely wasn’t formal, but I went with the nice top and makeup, and I think it just reinforces that I was taking it seriously. I’d say better to be safe with a little more formal, but obviously no need for a suit
Couldn’t hurt

Def wear makeup and a nice top (if that’s what you do for formal in person interviews). If you don’t normally wear makeup at formal events, then just go as you are.
I interview a lot and nowadays I’m almost always wearing a t-shirt. So I wouldn’t put too much thinking into it. Just make sure you are “presentable enough”
Yes. Black tie rules
Honestly I wouldn’t even cam up #powermove this is chess not checkers!
Lmaoooooo that's bold 🤣
Makeup = seriousness? wearing formal/nice top understandable
Put on makeup and make a trip to a nice mall to treat yourself for deciding to go through the interviews! I got my offer call an hour after the final round in Sephora trying on new blushes and that was a good feeling (even if you don’t want the job :P)
