Yes or ask your team lead to mention something. Do you just find these as your working on the same code base or in PR reviews? If the latter I’d add comments there to removing before approval.
They might think it’s funny but they don’t know who else will be working on same codebase in future and should be left clean and professional. Leave jokes on slack
Agree with leaving comments in PRs if you're doing reviews. If you're not, I'd suggest asking the person to keep the code clean first. If that doesn't work, tell your manager.
It's not going to change if you don't take action... Just try and approach it as a learning experience. This won't be the first uncomfortable situation you encounter in your career.
I mean something has to be said to them whether it's directly or indirectly from you...otherwise it's going to keep happening, and you never know who will end up looking at that code
Definitely either ask them to keep the code clean or let your manager know what's going on and have them handle it. Sorry to hear you're dealing with this I'd be uncomfortable too.
That's a violation of most HR policies!
For sure, that is not a habit you want to continue to allow!

Don't snitch to your manager. Tell them personally or leave a comment in one of their PRs or something.
When I first started digging around in code I used to make jokes in my code all the time…
like if I needed to comment out a section instead of commenting it out I’d put it into a conditional comparing two null strings.
If Batman > Superman … returns false - obviously. Oof I hope none of you ever have to review my early code.
I’d add sys-user and date conditional alerts for my birthday or public holidays and forget about it so when I log in I’d get a pop up.
My error messages were always reassuring. Like “it didn’t work this time but you’ll get it next time, you’re awesome!”
Anyway… the sexism is not ok and must be addressed. Just saying that I do get the desire to be playful with code and make it your own.
